terms and conditions
By booking with 1999 House of Nails, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our cancellation, lateness, and salon policies.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
- Less than 24 hours: 50% of the service fee will be charged.
- Less than 2 hours or no-show: 100% of the service fee will be charged
Cancellations or changes made more than 24 hours in advance incur no penalty
Unpaid cancellation or no-show fees may result in a booking block until the balance is cleared.
Punctuation & lateness
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to choose your colour and settle in. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to:
- Charge a no-show fee
- Decline the service
This fee must be paid before any future bookings. If you’re late but we can still proceed, we may need to shorten or simplify the treatment (e.g. no cuticle care or simpler nail art). Our staff will discuss options with you on the day.
Please be respectful and reasonable with your expectations, as lateness puts pressure on both your artist and the rest of the day’s schedule.
Changing Services
If you need to change or remove a service from your booking, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Changes made within 24 hours or at the time of your appointment will still be charged based on the original booking.
Nail Art Requests
For full nail art sets: Send your design in advance for a quote before booking. If the design is from our Instagram or website, you can use the listed art level to book. If your requested design is more complex than the one originally booked, we may not have time to accommodate it. Likewise, if you book a plain set but request nail art on the day, we’ll do our best—but the team reserves the right to decline if it’s unrealistic for the time slot.
Group Bookings
A 50% deposit is required for group bookings. If fewer people or services are provided on the day, the original booking total still applies. If additional services are requested, we’ll do our best to accommodate, depending on available time.
Children in the Salon
Minimum age for services:
- Regular services: 8 years old
- Nail extensions: 12 years old
Our salon is not child-proof, and staff are unable to supervise children. If you plan to bring your child, please let us know in advance. If your child is very active, we recommend not bringing them along.
